Resin adsorption method for organic chemical wastewater treatment

Broadly defined, any polymer compound that can be used as a raw material for processing plastic products is called a resin. 2. The application practice of resin adsorption method in organic chemical wastewater treatment

A. Industrial wastewater for phenol production by sulfonated alkali melting process.

 

The wastewater should be treated with NKA resin and H-103 resin. According to the results, the adsorption capacity of the resin is 150 ~ 250g/L, and the concentration of phenols in the final wastewater is below 0.5mg/L, and the adsorption efficiency of phenols is 99.99%. When treated with dilute lye, the desorption capacity of phenol is 95% and the removal capacity of COD is 70%. After comparison, it is found that the resin adsorption method has a very good effect on the treatment of this kind of wastewater, and can be widely used in the phenol-containing wastewater produced by the p-sulfonated alkali melting process.

 

B. In the industrial production process, if the isopropyl benzene oxidation method is applied, industrial wastewater containing phenol will be formed after the reaction. CHA-101 resin can be used to treat this wastewater, and phenol can be quickly adsorbed to this resin, with the adsorption effect of phenol exceeding 95%, and the efficiency of wastewater treatment is high.

 

C. For wastewater containing diisopropylbenzene peroxide in industrial discharge, NKA resin should be selected for adsorption when purifying such wastewater. According to relevant tests, the content of phenolic harmful organic matter after adsorption is reduced to below the discharge standard, which can be applied to the treatment of chemical wastewater.

 

D. To treat wastewater containing mononitro and polynitro phenols, it is necessary to apply H-103 resin for adsorption, which can adsorb 99% of harmful phenolic substances on the surface, significantly reduce the content of phenols in wastewater, and avoid pollution of water resources by industrial wastewater.

 

② Polyphenyl ring structure

 

A. naphthol wastewater.

 

The wastewater containing 2-naphthol will be produced in the synthesis of 2-naphthol acid. The secondary wastewater should be treated by CHA-111 resin process, which can absorb 99% of 2-naphthol and effectively recover 2-naphthol.

 

B. Bisphenol A waste solution.

 

Many companies will use sulfuric acid as A catalyst, and use phenol and acetone condensation method to produce bisphenol A, which will lead to a more acidic phenol containing wastewater, the phenol content of the wastewater can reach 7.0g/L. Therefore, the treatment of such wastewater should use H-103 resin method, which can remove 95% of phenol and 70% of COD.

 

(2) Treatment of carboxylic (sulfonate) acid compounds wastewater

 

① In the treatment of industrial wastewater, the wastewater containing salicylic acid can also be treated with H-103 resin, which can purify the salicylic acid in the wastewater to less than 5%. At the same time, combined with the above content, we can know that H-103 resin can also effectively purify phenolic organic compounds. Therefore, H-103 resin is widely used in organic chemical wastewater.

 

When the industrial wastewater containing sorbate is treated, H-103 resin can usually be used for adsorption, and ethanol solution can be added at the same time of adsorption treatment, which can dissolve sorbate into ethanol solution. This wastewater solution can also be used for the production of industrial organic matter and realize the recycling of chemical resources.

 

(3) Treatment of nitrogen organic compound wastewater

 

In chemical production, some organic compounds containing nitrogen are often produced, if nitrogen is not thorough enough in the reaction, it will produce organic compounds containing nitrogen, this organic matter is more harmful, in its treatment, we must pay attention to the efficiency and quality of treatment.

 

① Aniline wastewater in chemical production, if the wastewater contains aniline organic matter, then we must pay attention to the treatment of this organic matter, aniline organic matter is more toxic, the treatment is more complex, we must ensure that its emissions can be reduced to 0 before it can be discharged into the drainage system. To apply resin multiple adsorption, and finally use chemical methods to eliminate aniline organic matter, to ensure that the wastewater does not contain such substances.

 

When wastewater containing nitro organic matter is treated, CHA111 resin can be used for treatment, which has a high purification degree for nitro matter and can reach 99% removal rate.
